So we still have power and the television and what not but our internet and phones appear to not work. Our cell phones barely work. I had to drive a few miles from my house to get this connection so I may be back on a bit later. Going to drive down some roads to see how far I can get.
We were pretty lucky. Our fences kept up reasonably well and no windows were broken or anything. We had a lot of downed tree limbs but nothing spectacular. All of us are okay and I am going to see if I can make it to our mall which is supposedly open today. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

We're almost dead center for the projected path. If I disappear on Friday night or Saturday morning it's probably because the power got knocked out or something. There's a chance we may be heading to Dallas though. We'll see.

I told myself I was not going to do Death Note but I am so going to do it. XD Got my haircut like it and it's just a business suit. Clair...planned on doing that one for a while now. Relatively simple and I finally got to watch that whole series. So yeah.

I am not much for doing con reports so I will make it short and sweet: I missed everybody so much from Dallas/Denton area and the new people I met. I love cosplaying as Campanella and so far I plan on going to AFEST so do keep me informed. I would be most appreciative.
My sister will be going to graduate school in Dallas around August/September so I will be visiting her =D I hope to see you all more often than just cons. It is so boring here right now....
I do not expect a reply here. Just saying was much fun and would like to be informed of plans for AFEST. =]

Lol I see other people do updates so I can do one too =p Not much beyond saying what I am getting done i suppose. I can't bring Haschen from Growlanser because I do not have a big enough car to drag those weapons around with. Ah well. =p
Campanella is on a slow, steady pace in being made. You guys will be happy to know I am actually using a sewing machine on it so it will come out looking nice. The pants are pretty much done more or less....more or less being I have not decided on the zipper and what not to go in it. The jacket is more in the thinking process though the pieces themselves are cut out. I had to improvise on that pattern I have for it but it is coming along.
I have the wig I am going to use for him. It will need cutting seeing as how no wig looks like his ever. XD It will also be colored with the good ol' sharpie/alcohol method. I have ordered my red contacts and I believe they will be coming in this week. There are a few other things I gotta do but jacket, pants and wig are the ones I gotta knock out early.
As for a second costume I am not sure given that I did not bring any of my costumes with me from Dallas. They are in storage still and I will not have time to go by there to look for everything. If i have time I will cosplay the Baroquemonger from Baroque. Other than that I have Ellen from Folklore if I feel like gussying up all girl like again. =]
Main priority goes to Campanella though. All others are if I have time. =p We will see what others I can come up with.
